I had the extreme honor last Saturday to meet Ms. Aubrey Claire. I fell madly in love with her about six months ago when I saw her newborn pictures. I'll admit to putting down my camera numerous times during our session just to snuggle that sweet face. How could I resist? Thanks so much, Emily, for giving me an hour with your precious girl.
We started out a little shaky as Aubrey Claire was teething and generally irritated with me.
But, we changed our little tune with the introduction of...the magic ducks.
"No," said Peter, "You shall never wash my feet." Jesus answered, "Unless I wash you, you have no part with me." "Then, Lord," Simon Peter replied, "not just my feet but my hands and head as well!"
Why am I a photographer? I want to bring joy to parents and families by capturing the beauty of their little ones with pictures. Children are a precious gift, and I am amazed God allows us such a blessing.
Why Muddy Feet? First, it reminds me of my Savior, without whom I would be sentenced to drown in a puddle of my own sin. Second, it pays homage to my husband, Jonathan, who for 20 years has carried the nickname, Mud, and encourages me to follow this dream of photography. Third, it describes my style of photography, which is to capture families having fun together and loving one another. And, sometimes, that means you have to get dirty.
Thanks for visiting the Muddy Feet Photography blog. Please return often and call me to book a session. I'd love to help your capture those sweet smiles, precious faces, and muddy feet before they are only a memory.
